Born from the mind of a French designer based in Taiwan, whose eye has been sharpened by over a decade of expertise in product design, AWA (Adventures Weave Artistry) is a premium object publishing house dedicated to contemporary explorers.

The Source:
We forge close ties with local scrapyards to source seatbelts and airbags originally destined for destruction.
The Treatment:
Each element is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, andmanually sorted according to strict criteria of color, weave, and resilience.
Comfort Engineering:
The untearable weave of the seatbelts is anchored to an EVA footbed, designed with precise arch support for perfect biomechanics.
The Closed Loop: The rubber outsole integrates micro-particles of recycled
shoes, sealing our commitment to circularity.

The ergonomics of our sandals rely on an EVA footbed integrating precise
arch support. For the seatbelt architecture to perfectly contour your
morphology, choosing the right size is essential.
The Fit: True to size. We recommend your usual size.
Half Sizes: Opt for the size up to fully benefit from the heel seating and arch support.
Adaptation: Seatbelt webbing does not stretch. The initial firm hold will quickly harmonize with the natural compression of the EVA under your weight.
The AW01 and AW02 models will be distributed according to a size system XS, S, M, L covering shoe sizes from 36 to 47

The AWA experience does not end with the sandal. Each pair comes with its exclusive transport bag. Designed for the weightlessness of travel, this case is tailored entirely from upcycled airbag canvas, combining robustness, and lightness. By repurposing this pinnacle of safety technology, we offer you a utilitarian accessory whose durability defies time.
High-Resilience Material: The technical nylon of airbags, initially woven to withstand extreme impact, becomes an ultra-lightweight protective barrier for your sandals inside your luggage.
Unique Footprint: Tailored from recycled airbag canvas, they retain their original color variations. Industrial markings (serial numbers, fold lines, color codes) are preserved, making each piece absolutely unique.

AWA's visual identity is directly dictated by our upcycling process. We do not dye our materials; we compose with what the automotive industry delivers to us.
The shades of our straps depend exclusively on the seatbelt collections carried out in Taiwanese scrapyards. Whether a deep black, a metallic gray, or a more unexpected hue, the pattern, weave, and color tell the story of the raw material.
This rule also applies to our transport bags. Tailored from recycled airbag canvas, they retain their original topstitching and color variations.
